Personal Statement
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love what you are doing or learning to do” (Pele)…this is my daily mantra and how I live my life. I set high standards for myself and work hard to achieve my goals both ON and OFF the field. Academics, Character, and Soccer are the three most important things to me. Academically, I’m a motivated student with an “A” average and I take two AP courses. This year I was inducted to the National Junior Honors Society, received the Presidential Academic Achievement Award, Headmaster’s List recipient and Dean’s List recipient. My character is best represented by being the single student to receive my schools Highest Honor, The Sommers Award / Founders Award, which is awarded to a student who represents the schools highest standards in honor, respect, wisdom, compassion, and academics. Additionally, I was also the single recipient of the middle school Sportsmanship Award. When I’m not studying, I’m on a soccer pitch either with my school team, club team, or GK training with Giuseppi Weller (NT2D). This year I made the 2019 Florida ODP team and my club team finished out the year 1st Place @ Disney Cup winning all games without conceding a single goal. Over this summer I will be in Alabama for the ODP regionals. My college aspirations are to get in to the best academic school I possibly can, play soccer for that school, and most importantly succeed at both! I hope to get a law degree utilizing it for a position in Professional Sports Management field.
