Eduardo Rodriguez '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Eduardo Rodriguez and I would like to introduce myself! I am 17 years old and a Senior at James W.  Mitchell High School (Trinity, FL).  I played varsity soccer for Mitchell High School. I played on the JV team in 9^th and 10^th grade and have been on the varsity team member since 11^th grade. I became a starter in my senior year. I was selected as the player of the game in various occasions during my senior year. We played in the 6A district with the largest schools in Florida. Our school qualified to be in the top four teams in the state. I attended one or more soccer camps with college coaches during the school year. I also play club soccer at Florida Premier club  in the CDL and FSPL leagues and compete against some of the top level teams in the state and region.

I also enjoy giving back to the community. I volunteered in a kindergarten classroom helping children with Reading and Math. I also spend some time with the children during recess and help them with soccer skills. This opportunity provided me with a learning experience while I taught some basic skills to small children.

I plan to consider colleges that are a good match for me. I am not completely decided on my major, but it will likely be something in Criminal Justice.

I am very passionate about soccer and it would be great if that works out!
