Personal Statement
In middle school, as a captain I led the team to three consecutive undefeated seasons with Emerald Coast Middle School. As a freshman and sophomore playing at South Walton High School, I was Co-MVP and one of four captains on the team. I also play for FC Dallas Emerald Coast a top 10 ranked team in the state. This team won three second place medals including one at the Atlanta Cup and also a championship victory. I train everyday whether it is conditioning by myself or technical training with my travel team. On another occasion, I was chosen by two AC Milan coaches to attend Milan Junior Camp Day in Italy and started all of the games and was the only captain. It was a great experience because I was able to play with some of the best players in the world for my age group. Also in 2012 I was invited to the State Trials for the 96 men's Florida State ODP team and made the squad. This team went to the Region III ODP camp and went 4-0. In 2013, I traveled to England and trained with the Bolton Wanderers academy team. Over the summer of 2013, I have been training with a local semi-professional team the Panama City Pirates. On top of my athletic achievements , I currently have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and I attend the number one public high school in Florida. I think I can be beneficial to any team I may play for because I am willing to help no matter how small the feat. I love to work hard and I am never afraid to get my hands dirty. I have played many positions, including outside midfield, attacking central midfield, and forward, but my coaches like to put me in a position where I can be a playmaker. I have also not decided what I would like to major in yet but I am thinking about going into engineering. I really hope to play college soccer at any level and I think that my athletic and academic achievements will help me to do that and I am excited about the idea of visiting with colleges and coaches in the future.
