I'm Trinidadian,
Even though I am also Canadian, I prefer the nice tropical weather of the Caribbean. The bright sun and the almost near constant temperature makes it very comfortable to live. Compared to America we only have two seasons, I must say that it's quite boring. I am a big lover of fashion and I feel limited as I can not really wear a lot of clothes unless I want to sweat. I do like the fact that there are easy accessible beaches across Trinidad. Travelling down to a beach to have bake and shark, nothing beats that.
Playing soccer on the beach is so much fun, especially when it's with friends. Soccer in Trinidad is nice except for the fields. Most of the recreational fields have holes, only some Highschools have pristine fields. I was lucky enough to travel to America for camps and competition, and I must say It's a lot more fun in America than here. There's so much more competition and the level is higher so it's more fun. I'm always up for a challenge so I'm glad I got to travel to play soccer.
I can't wait to start college soccer. There will be lots of great players, including myself of course. I can't wait to meet new players and coaches, and I can't wait to win everything.
