My name is Dylan Cannella and I am a student-athlete enrolled in Boone High School, in central florida. At an early age I began playing almost every sport I could find, from organized leagues in basketball, football, baseball, and soccer. Around age 9-10, I realized that soccer was the sport for me. Since then I have gained experience playing almost every position on the field; eventually realizing what I could provide for a team as a defender. I have played at least one season at both left-back and right-back, and now play mostly center-back. In my first year of high school, I have been able to earn a spot on the junior varsity soccer team, and the varsity track team, achievements in which I hope to maintain and improve throughout the next 3 years at Boone. My ultimate goal would be to play Division 1 soccer for any university, with a possible major in graphic design (as I am already certified in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, and Microsoft Excel). Earning a spot on a D1 team, or really a for any school that I fit in well at would only make me work harder as access to new facilities and resources would accelerate my game and allow me to place complete focus on the sport.
