Sebastian Rodriguez '21 Recruiting Profile

I'm Sebastian Rodriguez and my main goal and dream is to play professional soccer, I know the path to get there will not be easy, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to get there. I want to attend a college that will offer me both an excellent soccer program and academics. I'm always working hard on and off of the field, school comes first and I always make sure I'm maintaining my grades by completing my assignments and studying for upcoming tests and quizzes. In middle school I was selected to represent my school as the MSAA Scholar Athlete in all three years. When it comes to soccer I will always give my maximum effort in practice and especially in games. I take every game serious and I never stop giving effort until the referee blows the full-time whistle. I'm more of a team player I like to find the best opportunity for my team whether it's me who scores or giving up the ball so that my teammate can score. Any criticism that I receive I use it to get better and if it angers me I use that in the game to play harder. Any time my team gets scored on they get on themselves because the other team scored, but I always encourage them to work harder and come back to win the game. I like to build good relationships with my coaches and teachers, I always treat them with respect and I'm always kind to them. Every coach that I have had has never had a problem with me, I like to make them laugh and smile. If you select me for your soccer program you will not regret it because I'm willing to do whatever it takes to help the team and myself improve to become the best.
