Nicholas Boccuzzi '19 Recruiting Profile

I will be a 2019 Graduate from Port Orange, FL.  I have played soccer since I was four years old and have been told I am naturally athletic. (I have played football and also compete in pole vaulting this year).  I earned a coveted varsity starting position at my very competitive 5A conference  high school, which was ranked 6th in the State this past season.  I play mostly defense, locking down right or center back, but in Club I also play forward almost every game, often put up front when we really need to score. (I play NPL, U19 in Club - I am 17 years old, born Sept 2001) I am fast; always the fastest runner on my teams.  I don't get beat in the back, and I can outrun nearly any defender when I'm up front.  I have developed a strong talent of scoring with headers on corner kicks, giving me the ability to contribute offensively, even if playing defense.  On the field, my only goal is to do right by my team and do what I can to help us get the win.  Off the field, school comes first.  I  and dual enrolled at highs school and Stare college, carry a strenuous class load with Advanced classes and maintain over a 4.5 GPA, allowing me to be a member of the National Honor Society.  I plan to pursue either Environmental Science or Business Economics in college.  I am excited at what the future may bring and I look forward to the chance to speak with coaches who think I might be a good fit for their team.
