Sebastian Ruiz '18 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I played for my first travel team when I was 8. I have won multiple tournaments with my first competitive travel club Palm Beach Soccer Academy. Then last year I made a big step to join a US Soccer Development Academy in Boca Raton, Florida. We are currently one of the best teams in the state and I am very happy there. I am a striker that likes to pass, dribble and shoot. My key skills in my game are my heading ability, my passing and touch, and my distance shooting. Also I am a good dribbler one on one and I am also a great finisher and free kick taker. I played Varsity as a sophomore at my high school were I attend and was a starter but shortly suffered a broken forearm injury that has taken me out of club and high school. I am set to be back in February of 2016 and I am also training on my own. My dream is to play collage soccer and to eventually go professional.
