My name is George Maris. My goal is to play collegiate soccer, get a degree, and continue to play soccer at the highest level. My goal for as long as I can remember was to play soccer in college and as a professional. I understand the importance of academics and want to go to college not only to play, but also to get a degree that I can use when my playing days are over. I have and will continue to work as hard as I can to make these dreams and goals a reality. I have recorded every mile I've run, workout I've completed, and training sessions for the past three years, my goal every day is to maximize my time, and get better at the thing I am most passionate about, which is soccer. I have upheld a 4.0 GPA in school while striving to push my body to the limits to get better. Many early mornings and late nights spent chasing a dream that I want so badly. Everything I do has a purpose and the intent to improve and get closer to my goals. My work ethic is one of the things I am most proud of, and I believe it makes me different. A chance to prove myself in the game I love in an environment where I can obtain an education is a tremendous opportunity and the next big step in achieving my goals.
