Personal Statement
I have been noted by several college and club coaches as an elite player that brings many elite level traits to my game. I pride myself on my work ethic to reach my goals which has allowed me to achieve quite a bit on the pitch, and is still one of my strongest traits. This trait also carries onto the pitch where I have a high work rate, and I out work our opponents. I am willing to work harder than anyone else to achieve my dreams, and have the skill to go along with my desire. Many college coaches and recruiters have evaluated my talent and skill and believe I have high level college soccer skill and can be a valuable addition to Division 1 soccer programs or lower. The areas of particular concentration are my size, and athleticism, speed, ability to play as a target forward with my back to the goal, yet having a strong first touch, and I am an excellent passer which allows my teammates to work off me to build an attack and allows my teams to play a possession based game. I have been cited for my calmness around the net and ability to finish both with my feet, and in the air. My game allows me to be a more complete center forward, one that has the size and speed to go over top of defenses, however one that can hold the ball up, with strong footwork, and soccer acumen to help build possession and an attack. I have the ability to pass like a midfielder with video to illustrate my passing, and work rate. I have played at a high level in the US Development Academy, and ECNL leagues, and in the past 24 months have played in DA showcases, and ECNL showcases and each time receiving significant college coaching interest, and inquiry. There are several more videos to illustrate the development of my game, not available on NCSA.
My goal has been to find the right fit if I am going to play soccer in college. The fit academically, athletically, geographically, and financially. I continue to explore to see if there is a good fit, and remain interested to hear about new opportunities.
