I am a rising senior at Alpharetta High School and I am part of the Class of 2020. I want to go to a school that is a good fit for me and a place where I can further my education. I am the perfect candidate for any college soccer team because I am a big and aggressive defender. No one plays as hard as I do. I put my body on the line for my team every game. That is something that is very important to me. I love helping my team and working hard so we as a team can be successful.
I have the ability to be a great leader, as I love to encourage and push my teammates to their fullest potential. In defense, I am very good, as I use my size, height, aggressiveness, and speed to defend. When it comes to games and even practices, I play my hardest so no one can get past me. I take it personally if someone beats me or gets past me, which drives me to play at my best every time I step onto the field.
A few of years ago, I was struggling to stay afloat in the Classic 3 division with my old team. In the summer of 2015, I had had enough. I took the initiative and tried out for Atlanta Fire United, and I ended up making the Classic 2 Team. I had a strong season my eighth-grade year, and in the summer of 2016, after my team soccer trip to Santiago, Chile, I made the U15 SRPL team. Again, I had a very good season my ninth-grade year, and by the summer of 2017, I was the Left-Back starter on the U16 ECNL team. My 10th grade year went great, as I learned a lot and played exceptionally well. In the summer of 2018, I made the U17 ECNL team and retained my starting Left-Back position.
Also, I tried out for my highly competitive high school soccer team for the first time (I didn't tryout Freshman year), and as a Sophomore I made it. I was the only starting sophomore (There were only two other sophomores on Varsity), as I was the team’s starting Left-Back the entire season. I even benched some of the seniors that have been on the team previously. We made it all the way to the region semi-finals. We were ranked 4th in region 6A, 4th in the State of Georgia, and 9th in the country. I feel like I have come a long way from where I was, as I never stopped working. I always work my hardest until I achieve my goal. I feel like I have all the qualifications to play for a great college. I look forward to being in contact with you all.
