Dear Prospective Coach,
My name is Josiah Joyce and I am a 5'9 centerback who can also play any other defensive position well. Currently, I play on HALO, a homeschool high school team that plays against private and public schools. As a home educated student I have the flexibility to practice at various times throughout the day, thus giving me an advantage to a traditional educated student. My greatest soccer accomplishment so far as center back is receiving All-Region honors while playing for (HALO) this past spring season. Unlike most other center backs I am speedy and am able to stop the opposition's striker's breakaways with my quick reaction and speed. I am very hard working and always follow directions. I exhibit a never give up attitude and use my defeats to learn how to become a better player. One thing I am proud of is that I am a very respectful player and have never in my soccer career received a yellow or red card. I plan on studying computer science along with computer programming. My goal is to get into a college that fits spiritually, academically, and athletically.

- Twice a week training with Fred Villaruel at Felker Park in Monroe, GA. Stamina, endurance, drills, scrimmage were performed at each training. Training's last approximately 1.5-2 hours.
