Soccer has always been a substantial part of my life since my foot first touched a ball at three years old. My talent and dedication were noticed early by a camp counselor who referred me to my first club. Under the coaching of Alejandro Pompo, I was taught the fundamentals and was developed into a strong academy soccer player. As I grew so did the level of soccer. I played with clubs that got promoted every season and I played against very difficult teams. Playing at these levels, at such an early age, made me stand out and helped me to gain a great amount of knowledge, understanding, and love for the game. Besides academy, I have played for select teams, my middle school team, my high school teams, and most recently, I have played for a national team. As a 5A school, we have very strong competition. Being able to train and play even more with school and club is a great experience. My starting experience and ability to examine many different play styles gives me a chance to change the way I play to help out my teams and adapt to the opponent. As a Freshman, on the JV team, I received one of two awards Junior Varsity Bulldog Awards given out to high school soccer players. In my first season on my current FC team, I was selected to represent the southeastern region of my club on the national team that went to the PDT in Phoenix, AZ in February 2020. We finished the tournament as the U16 National Champions.
I ensure that I get a daily workout in. Outside of soccer training with my club and high school, I have done one on one sessions with semi-pro and D1 level soccer players. I attend a weekly one-hour TOCA training. I am very conscious of my health and taking care of my body.
As a versatile student-athlete, I believe that my skills are ample to compete at the collegiate level. My collegiate goal is to be offered a position to play on a men's soccer team at a high level of competition. I would like to make an early contribution to my college career as a Freshman. My ability to adapt to new environments, styles of play, and people is an asset. My aim is to be an impact player that is dependable, smart, and always seeking ways to help my team win. I can offer your team speed, agility, knowledge of the game, quickness, dedication, and one hundred percent commitment to the team and my academics.
Academically, I have strived to maintain a GPA above 3.4. I am currently a dual-enrollment student at a local university. I am capable of handling high school courses, college courses, as well as my club and high school soccer commitments at the same time all while maintaining my grades. One reason that I enrolled in dual enrollment is so that I would be equipped with the tools that I need to transition from high school courses to college-level course work and not have to struggle with balancing being a new college student and my commitment to college sports.
I am the student you are looking for if you need a player who has the drive, determination, intensity, hustle, and understanding of sacrifice and hard work.
My mother is in the medical field and has been a big role model for me. I am wanting to study sports medicine, physical therapy, or sports management. I want to follow in my mother’s footsteps and learn more about the conditions of the human body and help those in need. I attend therapy sessions to help strengthen muscles, stretch, and relax and get an idea of what this type of work involves.
