My name is David Ortiz, and I have been passionate about soccer since I was 4 years old. My journey began with my brother, who inspired me to start playing. He continues to be my role model as he’s about to graduate from Georgia Southern with a full academic scholarship in engineering. From ages 4-7, I played recreational soccer and then joined a travel team called Hinesville Gators. in 2016 I won the state championship for recreational. Since then, I've played at the National League level with the Hinesville gators. Until Last year, I transitioned to a semi-pro team, Tormenta FC. I have started on varsity since I was a freshman for Bradwell Institute when I was a freshman, we went to the elite eight that has never been done in the history of Bradwell soccer. I also ran cross country my sophomore year to condition myself for soccer season but while doing so I made state in 2022. My dream is to play college soccer while pursuing a great education.
