Evan Petrie '17 Recruiting Profile

By way of background, I am currently the starting Center Back for my high school’s Varsity Team and consider myself a versatile athlete who can be a catalyst for success in any program that I am a part of.   Prior to my family’s relocation from New Jersey to Georgia, I was the starting Right Outside Midfielder for Dumont High School’s Varsity Team as a sophomore.   In addition to leading the team in goals, I took immense pride in my two-way ability in the midfield, creating and finishing chances on the offensive side of the ball and locking down the opponent on the defensive end.   My conditioning and personal work ethic enables me to go deep into games with fresh legs and a competitive edge.  In addition to my achievements on the high school level, I have played for multiple Select Club teams, including Northern Counties Soccer Assoc in NJ and United Futbol Academy in Norcross, GA (Classic 1 level).  Again, I was the leading goal scorer for both of these teams.

    My goal is to play collegiate soccer at the highest level possible.
