I come from an athletic family, and have grown up enjoying a variety of sports (soccer, swimming, cross country, basketball and football). My mom was a finalist at the 1990 Swimming World Championships and swam at the University of Georgia, and my dad, who passed away at the age of 42, was a British Olympic Swimmer (Seoul 1988) and swam at the University of South Carolina. My step dad, played soccer growing up and played while attending school at Coventry University in the UK. It's always been a dream of mine to follow in their footsteps and play soccer while in college.
I've always been a quiet and reserved person, who chooses to lead by example and hard work. I may not be the outspoken leader, but will always give a 110 percent to my team and my coaches.
My academic record is stellar. I'm currently enrolled in the Magnet program (mathematics and science) at my high school, which I feel is the best path for me and my academic dreams. Although I'm not sure what career interest me the most, I am leaning towards a degree in science and engineering.
I do know I am working my hardest to fulfill my dream of combining my passion for soccer in combination of getting a degree of my choice!
