Romans Outland '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Romans and I’m beyond grateful to play soccer everyday. Soccer is my passion. I love the game but it’s so much more than a game to me. When I was 6, my Mom adopted me from Latvia. As soon as I arrived in America, she signed me up for soccer. It is on the soccer field that I gained confidence in myself, that I met life long friends, that I learned many life lessons, and that developed the leadership skills that I possess today. I have natural athletic abilities but that doesn’t stop me from working day in and day out on perfecting my skills, working out,  running,  and staying mentally strong. I have a very strong work ethic and I give 100% in all that I do, whether I am on the soccer field or in class. God has given me the gift of leadership and I do my very best to lead others well and push them to be the best they can be.  I can be intense but it’s because I’m fiercely loyal to the game, my teammates, and my coach. I want my team to work hard and play at our greatest potential  with the upmost integrity and respect.
