Emilio Ochoa '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Emilio Ochoa and I’m a 2023 CAM/CM from Culiacan, Mexico. I currently play for Darlington Soccer Academy U19.

Soccer has been part of my life since I was 5 years old. I have dedicated a lot to the sport and I have made a lot of sacrifices to be where I am. This sport has taught me a lot of patience and to get up after a hard hit.

Academics are a top priority for me and because of that, I enrolled in Darlington School in Rome, GA. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA. The 2021-2022 season was my first at Darlington as a student-athlete and my mission was to help the team improve on and off the field. During the season, I was named team captain in the last showcase and served as dorm leader, two distinguished roles that I am committed to.

Through college athletics, I desire to play at a high level, compete every day, make a significant difference on and off the field, and earn a college degree. After earning a degree, I would like to pursue a Master’s degree.
