Upon stepping onto the soccer field at the age of four, I developed an intense love for the game. Consequently, when I was in the seventh and eighth grades, having attended soccer camps at two top universities, I realized that I most definitely wanted to play at the college level with other skillful players. As I have grown older, I have also come to understand that I wanted and needed to choose a university that would benefit me most; academically, socially, and emotionally, as well as feel as much like home as possible. My goal is to also be at a university in which I can make a difference on campus and the local community. Furthermore, my parents have instilled in me that in a world in which many athletes are sports-minded at the expense of their grades, I am a student athlete first and foremost; which is exemplified by my current GPA. Athletically, I am willing to push myself to the limit and beyond both on and off the field, while doing everything I can not to cause preventable harm to my body. In addition to mental and physical toughness, on more than one occasion I have been praised by coaches for my ability to maintain a level head in the midst of chaotic situations.
Lastly, I cannot stress enough the enjoyment that I experience from playing soccer and how eager I am to continue to improve so that I can play at the next level with other top tier players.
