Kamdyn Harris '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kamdyn Harris, and I am a two sport athlete at Trion High School located in Trion, Georgia. I have always played basketball and soccer growing up, but soccer has been a huge primary sport to me. Basketball is a great sport, and even though I enjoy it, I mainly use it for my pre soccer season conditioning to keep me in top shape. I have played at the varsity level on my high school soccer team for three years,  and coming up in the spring will be my fourth year on the varsity team. While playing sports is important to me, my success in the classroom is my top priority. I have always maintained an A/B average and am currently taking DE classes and AP classes. 

     Playing soccer at the college level for at least one to two plus years is my goal. This has always been a dream of mine. I would like to transfer to the University of Georgia, my dream school, after successfully playing college soccer. 

     I am involved in several activities outside of school. I have started my own business which consists of interior and exterior car detailing. At the beginning of the Covid outbreak, my best friend and I came together and started cleaning our parents’ and families’ cars; word spread and someone offered us a building to rent in the middle of our hometown. We have gotten customers from all around the area and the business, titled Sha-Bam Car Detailing, has been very successful. Also, during the summer I volunteer at a children's Christian summer camp called Camp Hamby. I have been going to this camp since I was six years old. I have enjoyed being a counselor for this camp for the past five summers. It is a two week camp teaching children 5-12 years old about Jesus and the nature surrounding Him. I have also played on a club soccer team, Southern Soccer Academy, located in Rome, Georgia, for one year, but unfortunately due to COVID-19 the team has stopped due to having no safe way to have tryouts.

I am looking forward to starting my college soccer career and will continue to push myself to be an excellent student athlete.
