My goals in life at this time are to attend college and achieve a degree that integrates math and science in some way and hopefully be able to play the sport of soccer that I love at the same time. I haven't focused my degree choice yet but am open to business, engineering or accounting or a mixture of those.
I love soccer. I've been blessed to have had the opportunity to play several sports like baseball, tennis, volleyball, track and soccer. But I ended up choosing to focus on soccer because of my speed and agility. I was late to the game and didn't begin playing club until I was 12 years old. It took a few years for me to catch up to the kids who had been playing club since the age of 8 but I worked hard and never gave up . In this game I love to score but I equally enjoy assisting my teammates to accomplish the great feeling of making it through our opponents to the final moment of a goal.
I have been raised in Hawaii by parents who have pushed me to be the best that I can be, to work hard and to have life goals that build a sense of accomplishment. My dad has always helped me whether it be in sports or in the classroom. He has pushed me to not just do what is required but to go above and beyond- to do more than what is expected of you. I can hear him asking me if I have given a 100% and it has been the voice inside my head pushing me to do more than I thought I originally could when I play.
If I am a good fit for your school I promise to give 110%- to go above and beyond on a daily basis. I will consider myself lucky and grateful to have received the opportunity if given the chance.
Thank you for your time and consideration
