I've been playing soccer since I was a little kid. I also played other sports in my childhood, but soccer is the one sport I fell in love with. Soccer is where I fall to because of the freedom. There's no play calls, once you get that ball, its in your hands on what you do. I've always been a player that isn't glued to a spot on the field. Whether its getting up the line into the attack from a defensive position or interchanging with the midfield when in transition, I always see the fluidity of the game. I've ran track my whole childhood which has given me the ability to run forever with my endurance and speed. I was a nationally ranked youth runner for several years. Two years ago I placed 2nd in the 800m at the indoor nationals in New York and have competed in over a dozen national events. When it's the last 15 minutes of the game and everyone is getting tired, I will be playing almost identical to when the game started.
I'm looking for a college where the soccer program focuses on the team's growth first but also is able to develop relationships with each individual player on their growth as a person and athlete. My academic performances over the course of high school has aloud me to keep my capability of attending colleges academically very broad along with future academic scholarships. My endurance, speed, creativity, view and analysis of the game, and my academic achievements allows for me to be a great collegiate soccer athlete.
