I am looking to transferring from Webster University in St. Louis Missouri to a Pacific Northwest school that has both a physical therapy program and soccer program. I have enjoyed the two years I have attended Webster but really want to transfer to the Pacific Northwest where I grew up. Webster has been a great University to attend both academically and for skills development in soccer. I have been fortunate to work with some great coaches such as Brian Jones and Brian Woodward who see my skills and abilities to be an exceptional goalie with a division 2 team even though I am currently the top goal keeper for a division 3 team.
My long-term goal is to obtain a doctorate in physical therapy while still playing soccer as a goalkeeper. I work hard, and am told that I am an exceptional leader by my coaches and fellow students. I am a scholastic student with a 4.0 GPA. I have had to face many challenges to date with the loss of my only little brother two weeks into my freshman year I still managing to maintain a 4.0 GPA and win defensive player of the week repeatedly as well as finishing the season as first team all-conference after being absent from school for close to three weeks to attend to my family matters.
I aspire to do well in my field of choice while enjoying the outdoor activities I so enjoyed as a child growing up in Washington and Idaho. I intend to develop my clinical physical therapy skills by doing a physical therapy aid internship in the summer of 2018 then attending school full-time in the fall of 2018.
Bringing all of that to the field, you won't find another athlete that works as hard as I do to improve at what I do and love. I enjoy learning new things and transfer that from the classroom to the field when it comes to learning a new drill, technique, or footwork. I can't wait to see what you have to offer and challenge you to challenge me.
Looking forward to talking to you soon!
