Evan Lennox '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently in my senior year and will graduate in 2022. My academic interests include health sciences, in particular physical therapy, and engineering. I am excited to play at the highest collegiate level possible moving forward. I take all advanced classes and have a GPA of 4.2 out of 4.0.

Club Experience: I have played at St. Louis Scott Gallagher at the Academy level and then the ECNL level for the past 6 years as a central midfielder. I am described as a box-to-box midfielder and I like to play on the defensive side. I am very committed and travel 2 hours, 3 times a week just for training. I have captained my team and I always look to work hard in and out of training as well as push my teammates to be their best.

High School Experience: I have been a starting varsity player at Carterville High School since freshman year. We went 14-3-1 last year and I have had 19 goals and 21 assists over the first three years of my career. My sophomore and Junior year I was selected for the All-South team by the Southern Illinois Coaching Association and picked for the All-County team. Following my junior year I received the most offensive player award alongside the most valuable player. I am excited to see how hard I can push myself during this senior year. 

My coaches describe me as a very dependable central midfielder ("lynchpin") with great vision and the ability to dictate the tempo of the game. They also say I am a hardworking defensive player, always willing to battle it out and hold my teammates and myself to high standards. 

I would love to be a part of a highly competitive collegiate team with a great group of guys, that gel very well together. Some of my other hobbies include golf, hanging out with friends, and weed whacking.
