Winning the Regional Championship as a sophomore was an important and exciting time in my High School career. However, I feel like I grew most Sophmore year as being a student athlete since it was my first year playing soccer at a High School level. That made me realize that in order to be able of playing at a college level I need to learn how to put both equal effort in both my athletics and my academics.
I’m grateful to be apart of my school soccer program and to be named captain so I can continue to learn what true leadership, commitment, hard work, and teamwork is. I also learned to value my fellow teammates because, we can all help each other build character on and off the field. I am personally looking forward to finding a good program that I will benefit from, both athletically and academically, but I also hope to have an impact on that program whether it’s big or small. I can make an impact on your program because I not only believe I have the talent but also the dedication, and character to make that impact on your team. Playing soccer for 12 years and gaining experience from multiple opponents and being team captain of my High School varsity team I know what it takes to be a leader and that I can help lead your team!
