Personal Statement

I have always been the type of person try a little bit of everything, especially when it comes to extra curriculars. Throughout all my years of school I have been in a band, whether it be regular orchestra or a jazz ensemble, I have strived to keep my love for music and the instrument alive. My experience in this activity not only taught me how to play an instrument and read/improvise music, but also taught me how to efficiently work in a team and bring out the strengths of the players. It taught me to not be afraid of change and new ideas, but rather welcome them as a way to work toward a set goal. I have applied these lessons to my athletic, more specifically, soccer career and learned efficient ways to work together with my teammates in order to bring out their strengths and accomplish our goal, no matter who they may be.

Academic Accomplishments

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. The school which I am attending, Northside College Prep, is a selective enrollment high school which means that essentially every class that can be is taught at the honors level. PE, Health and Driver's Ed are exceptions to this rule as well as AP classes. So, every class I am currently taking is an Honors Class.
Are you in AP/IB classes?
Yes. I am currently taking AP U.S. History.
Registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center?
No

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
