Fabian Mata '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Fabían mata. The goals I carry around with me throughout my athletic and academic career to be consistent and give one-hundred percent at everything I do. I have been playing soccer for about 14 years and have been a key player on every team I have along side with. My dedication has always lead me throughout my athletic career. In the spring of 2024 I suffered a concussion which lead to me to sit out the whole club spring season. Although it was rough I did not lead it stop me from being the best version of myself. I continued to support my teammates and train more and more everyday to recover as fast as possible. My dedication academic wise has made me a better student overran. I will always put my grades first and give one-hundred percent at everything I do in life. My dedication and mindset has Always pushed me to be the best player on and off the pitch. What sets me apart is my commitment and work ethic. I will always put in the work day and night to be the best player for myself and teammates. I always strive to support my teammates on and off the pitch. Academically, I have maintained a unweighted GPA of 3.3 and a 4.0 weighted GPA throughout my junior year. My dedication academically will improve and my management will allow me as an athlete to strive academically and athletically. I am confident that my skills and character will make a unique player on your team. I am excited to be apart of this journey and will continue to improve everyday.
