Zachary Carnahan '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zach Carnahan and I am a senior at Oakwood High School in Fithian, Illinois. I have started every game at the varsity level since I started high school. I am very honored to be a captain on my high school soccer team. I do my best to lead by example. I am a versatile athlete who has played several positions. My coach has moved me around to whichever position best helps the team. I am a quick learner and can adapt to new situations fairly quickly. I am very coachable; I will do anything that my coach tells me to do without complaining. I am a hard worker that always does my best in every situation. I have a strong desire to win no matter what the activity. I am a strong believer in team play. I do not care as much about individual statistics as I do about winning the game. I am currently second in career assists at my high school, but I would rather be known for being on the best soccer team in the history of my school. In my college search, I do not care where the school is located. I just want to go to a smaller college that offers civil engineering as a major and has room for me on their soccer team. My education is most important to me, but I would really like to play soccer. I will need financial aid. My brother is currently in college and both of us will be in college next year. My goal is to become part of a college soccer team as a freshman and to make an impact on that team by my senior year.
