2020 Highlights #2 Personal Statement
I am a rising senior will graduate in 2021. I plan to study medicine and I'm really looking forward to continuing my soccer career at the collegiate level. I am ranked first in my graduating class and have a 5.6 GPA.
I have been playing for Saint Louis Scott Gallagher at both the Academy and ECNL levels and was voted top 11 ECNL defensive player for the Midwest.
- My coaches say I am a technical, hardworking, aggressive, smart team player.
- I can play anywhere on the field, but stand out at defensive positions, in the mid-field, and on the back line. My speed makes me a tough competitor.
- In addition to very aggressive defending, I excel at getting the ball upfield to set up scoring opportunities.
- I’m known for giving it my all, even when losing. I am a team Captain and my team mates respect my work ethic and commitment. I push myself and my team to keep the pressure on, working to get the other team mentally and physically out of the game. One referee stopped me after a game this year and told me that he loves to watch me play because I am “relentless and just don’t quit.”
