Personal Statement
The first time I had stepped on the field in third grade, I had dreams to play in the MLS and along with that, the collegiate level. I have always loved the game and aspire to be the best player on the field and be the best person off the field. My parents told me that if I want to be the best, I would have to put in the most work out of anyone there. This is where my work ethic comes from, which many of my coaches have called second to none. One of my strengths is knowing the game of soccer and communicating to my teammates where to go and what is happening. However, the biggest thing that I would want in a college is a place where my education is valued as highly as my playing career. My grades and academics have always been a priority with sports, and I want to maintain that mindset and not lose that side of me. I have always strived to do my best academically, allowing for myself to succeed off the field.
Besides academics and soccer, I pursue other interests off the field. These include: volunteering, working as a caddie for the local country club, playing high school soccer and baseball, as well as travel soccer and baseball.
