Personal Statement
My name is Evan Frazier and I am 5’10 and 160 pounds and play defending positions. I have played soccer since I was 5 years old and steadily graduated from low-level park district soccer to junior varsity high school soccer as a freshman and then to a varsity state champion as a sophomore. I have yet to spend a season not playing soccer since I first started and do not plan on stopping after high school. Through years of soccer I have learned many things that shape my way of life including being selfless and being heavily driven. The most important lesson that I have learned through soccer in my opinion is good sportsmanship and a strong supportive attitude whether I’m playing soccer or working on a group project for school I always want to help people be the best they can be and hope for the same in return. The way that I play soccer is very strong and fast in play as I am good at reading the field and anticipating team movements and changes in play. Also, I am a very strong player on the ball and am not afraid to be physical. I think that my mentality toward my teammates and the game is what helped propel my 2019 varsity high school team to a state victory.
