Personal Statement
I finished my Senior year at Lockport Township High School in Illinois. I am extremely interested in continuing my education and soccer career at a 4-year University. I completed my Junior year with a 4.33 GPA and the first semester of Senior year with a 4.167 which boosted my cumulative GPA to 4.229. I am a highly committed individual both academically and athletically. As a freshman I led my High School’s soccer program with 33 goals and 5 assists. I started Varsity both as a Striker and an Attacking Outside Back in my Sophomore and Junior seasons. We were a third-place winner in the state playoffs in 2021. My Senior I had the 2nd highest goals scored while playing a majority of season at Outside Back.
I am a dedicated team player and a very well-rounded individual. I have speed, power, energy and knowledge of the game. I have been playing club soccer since I was five years old, and I am still deeply passionate about the sport and love the game! I started with the Lemont Raiders in Illinois and then moved to Samba/Cadence Soccer Academy when I was twelve years old. I am still playing both club and high school soccer.
I was previously a two-sport athlete, but I recently decided to focus my career on soccer. I played both baseball and soccer most of my life. My last year playing baseball I was named MVP and I broke a 40-year record by stealing 76 bases in only 25 games.
Concerning my high school career, my freshman year at Lockport Township, under Coach Carley Boyle, I led my High School’s soccer program with 33 goals and 5 assists. Starting my sophomore year, I was selected as a Varsity player under Coach Christopher Beal. In the beginning of our season, I was our starting forward but was later moved to a starting outside wing back position to support our defense while still being able to utilize my speed on the attack.
I come from an exceptionally large close family, with many different unique personalities. This has taught me how to deal with different individual personalities as well as how to connect more with my teammates and friends that come from many different backgrounds.
