Cole Farley '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a student athlete from Newton, Illinois, looking for a roster spot at a college with good soccer and academic programs. I am currently attending Newton Community High School. As a student, I want to complete high school and further my education in the field of health and fitness. I want to obtain a degree in exercise science and possibly a degree in the field of business. I would like to pursue a career as a personal trainer, physical therapist or something else in that field. My dad works as an insurance agent for a family business and my mom is a nursing professor at Eastern Illinois University located in Charleston, Illinois.  I'm a versatile player having played forward in middle school and defensive mid-fielder my freshman and sophomore years.  As a junior, I played a position that required me to start as a defensive mid-fielder, but look for opportunities to move the ball and attack allowing me to score 19 goals last season.  I"m a leader both on and off the field constantly looking for ways to improve my game having attended many summer and ID camps over the years along with playing both indoor and club during my off-seasons.  I was voted captain of my team as a junior and I will bring that same work ethic to the college level applying it to both my academics and soccer team.
