Update: I have signed with Quincy University to play soccer beginning in Fall 2020. I plan to earn a bachelor of science degree in nursing while playing four years of college soccer. I will bring athleticism, leadership, encouragement, and a team-first attitude to my team. I am an excellent student. I make friends easily and get along with people of all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I am active in my church and will seek to glorify Christ through academics and sports. For my entire life, I have played soccer, basketball, and baseball. If I were not pursuing soccer, I would be seeking to play baseball in college. Because of my emphasis on basketball and baseball when not playing soccer, I have not specialized in soccer year-round. I see this as a positive in college. My overall athleticism is high due to my natural ability and experience in three sports, and my skill level will increase exponentially once I am focusing on one sport. I will reward a coach who takes a chance on me with energy, enthusiasm, endurance, athleticism, and the ability to play anywhere on the field to help the team. During my sophomore season, I was the goalkeeper for our regional championship team. During my senior season, I led the team in goals and assists, and I was also voted by my teammates as the top defender. This was the result of playing attacking midfielder, defensive midfielder, or center back, depending upon the team we were playing. Whatever my college coach wants me to do, I will be ready, willing, and able. I will do all that I can to make the team better.
