I was 4 years old when I fell in love with soccer. I started off at AYSO but I noticed that I was more serious about the sport than other kids and always played up. When I was 6 I was already playing U12. From there I started my club career and I found my home at NIFC in DeKalb, IL where I've had many opportunities including attending US Soccer Training Center and participating in many tournaments. I've learned that hard work pays off, give 100% in training and it will show in games. I've also learned the importance of teamwork and when you have a good relationship with your teammates it shows in the field. My teammates are my best friends and this was evident in my high school team as we advanced to our Sectional finals this year due to teamwork.
I will be a 4 year varsity player in high school, will keep playing with NIFC and IPA and hope attend a college that will prepare for my future career as an endodontist. I want to run into a stadium and have fans cheering me on as I score for my college. I also want to find a coach who will be as influential in my life as my club coach has been. He has been a coach, mentor and friend. This summer I will be working as a lifeguard to start saving money for college and I've already been working for my mom's CPA firm during tax season.
Some of my favorite soccer memories include watching El Clasico in Madrid, the energy was incredible!, walking in the Santos Futebol Clube field where Pele and Neymar had their start, watching my favorite player, Christian Ericksen play for Denmark against Switzerland in Switzerland and seeing my favorite club, Newcastle United, bouncing back to the Premier League after being relegated.
When my team needs results, I step up and encourage my teammates give that extra effort that wins games. My team knows that when I am playing I go all out.
