Personal Statement
I have played many sports in my life, and have had varying degrees of success in all. Yet soccer is my one true passion, I have played the game since I was three years old, and ever since I can remember, I have wanted to play soccer on a collegiate level. I've played and started at every position on the field in my 4 years of high school. As a freshman I made All-Conference honorable mention as a goalkeeper, my sophomore year I played some outside back, but my main position was as a forward. And it stayed a forward for the next two years, only with a couple games I would move to a midfielder or back to goalkeeper. I love playing the forward position it was the position that made me fall in love with the game, I still remember my first goal when I was three. My love of the game has aspired me work at my goal, to become a college athlete, everyday, to try and better myself, whether it be working out, doing drill, running, or studying. As much as I love soccer, I also know that I will be a Student-Athlete, and as a student athlete I must be achieving in the classroom too. I believe I bring a optimistic, winning, and offensive minded mentality with me where ever I go. I have always loved being the one who leads a team to victory or comforts them after a lost. I am grateful for any opportunity that may arise, to allow me to be a leader, win games, and score goals at the collegiate level.
