Cam Joniec '25 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing soccer since I was 6 and goalkeeper since I was 7. I love watching and playing soccer and I want to continue my academics and soccer at the next level. I play as a goalkeeper and I am good at high pointing corners and aggressively control my box. Due to my experience of playing and watching soccer I am smart and able to help my team maintain possession in my half. I also use my length to stop shots that some goalkeepers may not be able to save. I work very hard and do my part to help my team win. 

My work ethic and will to succeed also translates to the classroom. I take lots of honors classes and always strive for academic excellence. Last Fall I progressed a lot as a goalkeeper and had the opportunity to start for my high school Varsity team at Hamilton Southeastern were we finished 13-3-3 and were ranked #4 in the state of Indiana. We lost in the sectional final to the future state champions. 

Overall, I want to go to college for school and for soccer were I will continue to push myself. I want to find the college that is the best match for me!
