Hello, my name is Sebastian Carnes.I love to play soccer and its my passion, I started playing when I was in 4th grade school wise but I've always kicked the ball around with other kids when I was younger. My 7th grade year i won a state championship with my charter school, i was the starting GK and never got scored on one time the whole season and we blew teams out. My mom made me change schools even though i didnt want to and had no choice at 15 years of age. At my old school i would have be able to play all 4 years or even learn about academies and play on them. At my new school i didnt play my Freshman year as i came late, my Sophomore and Junior year I was on the practice squad and my Senior year I didn't like the coaches because where I went to school the GK was the younger brother of the GK coach who used to be The GK and they kept bringing his friend on and they both were close to the coaches and were buddies before I go their and I didn't get to play 1 highschool game even though I came to all the practices and I never gave up I kept trying. I've always practiced by myself for hours a day routinelly to improve my game at all positions when i was young to just be the best i could be as a player in general. When I go to combines every single school had good things to say about me and wanted me to visit them. I played in a Co Ed Church league for 5 years were we would play teams just from Indiana. When I was 14 i was playing against 19 and younger kids because I was good the put me in the older kids squad. We would play a bunch of other church teams and it was cheap because of religious affiliated and I help line the fields to pay the rest. The competition was still good because we played good homeschool and highschool players and from top schools and even academy players who would play in the spring for something to do ( we had to have at least two girls on each team which everybody had and they barely played to be honest.) We went undefeated last year and won all games and the year before that we won again. My first 2 seasons I played with the worst team and turned them around. I played everywhere sometimes but mostly midfield or up top because I'd just track back and play all positions and i even played GK games as well. My last two seasons I've only played GK and CB/RB and have done very well. I have been playing Centerback/Rightback and Goalkeeper since I have started and enjoy it a lot, i started playing CB because at my team me and the other GK rotated even though I was the declared starter. I've mostly played Goalkeeper and would want to play that in college or Centerback/Rightback. I come from the small midwest in the state of Indiana. My family is pretty poor and have not always been able to pay for soccer teams, camps, combines until i turned 18 because my mom was greedy with her money and didn't wanna pay and my grandparents didn't have the funds and really couldn't help me with soccer because my mom had control of everything and made excuses why she didn't wanna pay for soccer. My family also didn't wanna pay because they weren't really into soccer like i am and made excuses as well (including grandparents when they had extra money.) I was able to make my own choices and do stuff myself when I turned 18 and begged and begged after the got custody to please help me. Also working and doing school at the same time is very hard thats why i choose to focus on school more than i did with trying to get a job and not having a good life situation when i was younger and when i looked up soccer clubs i couldnt find some because the ones i found my mom lied and said they werent for my age or were over, I was younger and I trusted her as a parent, but I'm getting a job soon anyways. I live with my grandparents as my mom gave them custody last year. I've never known my dad and my mom left me to move to the west coast for her boyfriend and her job. I've always lived with my grandparents and my mom was in and out of thier house but she left me here and sometimes I'd go to her house and id hate it because of people and the enviornment and how they treated me and what happened over there. My grandparents have helped me recover academically somewhat, that's because my mom didn't help at all and didn't care to try and they had no legal way to help because she said "let him learn on his own with no guidance." Ive really had to learn on my own and mature by myself on my own completely. Also I've matured and delt with situations better and more maturely than I did before with life and my grades started out poor due to situations with life and soccer as i summerized above. I used soccer to get away from it all, I'm a really hard worker and my GPA is so low because of my freshmen year and some Sophomore year and grades have gone up ever since. Ever since I found out about NCSA and got the full membership even though it took them a year and a couple months after telling me it was free before telling me I had to pay. I even got 50% off the cost because of financial aid and that's as much as they give on a payment plan which is the best offer. I've really tried in school and now have all As to show I can do my work academically and on the pitch and I've matured as a student, athlete and a person in general. Thanks for viewing my profile and I have more information about me and my situation if you need it. Thank you so much.
