The highlight of my high school career wasn't a specific achievement or trophy, but rather the growth I was able to experience for myself and the others around me. As the years went on, I strengthened my mindset and each year I wanted it more than the last. I firmly believe that this lust to win, combined with the determination to take soccer as far as I possibly can, shaped me into a solid all-around player that will play any position that I am put in with 100% effort.
While my high school program did not win much in terms of trophies, I feel I was around a group of players who constantly wanted to push each other to be the best they can be, and would keep each other going in the toughest of times. I'm interested in programs that will not only suit me athletically, but also academically as I take them equally serious. I am confident enough in my skills to believe I can be a strong collegiate player, with a strong work ethic and a determination to constantly do whatever I possibly can for whatever team I'm on. Playing soccer for 14 years and working my way to captaincy with every team I've been on, I know that I have what it takes to play a strong role in your team and provide leadership when necessary.
