Quincy Rainey '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been very fortunate to have exceptional coaches and mentors in my life.  Through soccer, I have learned the meaning of  commitment, leadership,  respect, teamwork, and the importance of hard work and a great, positive attitude.  Years ago I was given the opportunity to play goalkeeper.  With each passing year, I have gained confidence, strength and  skill in this position.  I am wanting to continue my education and my soccer career playing at a high level at a college where I can become an asset to the team, continue to learn and excel in my position, and build lasting relationships.

In my 4 high school seasons, I have started and played varsity GK in every game, in most cases for the entire game.    I have become a leader on the team and have gained the respect of my fellow teammates.   My accomplishments include: two year Captain, all conference, all district and leadership honors.  I have also played over 8 years on my travel team playing GK as well and defender.  

I value the relationships that I have with my coaches and my teammates.  I conduct myself in a respectful manner and am willing to learn new things to best contribute to the success of the team.  My commitment to both my education and my sport  is strong.  I always give 100% effort in the classroom, to my coaches, and to my teammates.  I know that hard work pays off and I am willing to put in the work needed on and off the field to be the best student-athlete that I can be.
