Personal Statement
My goals for college include gaining a diploma which will allow me to accomplish my curricular goals, while keeping a possibility for reaching my extra-curricular goals. College soccer would offer me the opportunity to have fun and be in a familiar environment, while arriving in a new country. I believe that both my physical strength and composure allow for me to do well at centre-back, and having played in central midfield allowed me to gain more confidence on the ball, while knowing what to do when under-pressure. I see myself as a good candidate for a college team, because I was able to adapt well to a new school this year, leading the backline, and quickly getting used to a new group of people, something which I believe demonstrates my leadership and teamwork skills.
