Personal Statement
My name is Jordan, I have been playing for 15 years now and in my life I have achieved many footballing goals and the most important one being that I was part of the 50 man squad that was asked to trial for the Australian U17 world cup team. Unfortunately I didn't go further however, I was one of 10 in my state to be selected. As much as I love football I also enjoy futsal in which I have represented Queensland (my state) at nationals 4 times and 2 of those I have been captain. My main goal in football would be to try and play professionally. My position in football is right back and left back although, I can play as a left or right winger as I am fairly quick in sprints and have good footwork and skills to beat players 1 on 1 and to get out of tight situations. I have been told I am an attacking minded fullback as I love to make overlapping runs around the winger to either drive into the box to cut the ball back, to go wide and cross the ball in or to drive into the box and shoot if I get the chance. Some coaches might fear having an attacking minded fullback as they believe I won't track back, however this is not the case. I will always pick my moments to push forward and if I am attacking and we lose possession of the ball I am sprinting to get back into position. I am a determined player that will do anything I can to stop a ball from going into the net, my body is on the line at all times, furthermore, I will run my ass off for the full 90 mins of a game, whether it be in attack or running back in defense, I will be there. I would be valuable asset in the team as I have leadership experience in high levels of football and can bring this experience into the team helping them to lift their game, I can play multiple positions and excel in attacking and defending. Coaches have quoted me as being a specialist in full back and that I close down attackers quickly, that I move well to cut off angles, that I win almost all 1v1 duals, play very well in tight spaces and I keep possession for the team
