Hello Im a 20 a year old portuguese student and soccer player, I am in search of an affordable scholarship in a great university, unfortunately I only knew of the possibility of studying and playing soccer in the US until late, (but I think there is still time). I want to be a professional player and study as well, my problem is that I only started playing soccer when I was 17 years old, and had to make a hard way into players that competed in Portugal soccer competitions since they were at least 10 years old (the vast majority of them), and I was able to come along pretty well, with hard training it can be achieved. That is what I want to do in the U.S train very hard and study. I think that if I started to play soccer earlier I would already be a professional soccer player in Portugal, but the problem is, it is almost impossible to combine the studies with a very hard training schedule in my country, the main reason I want to go to the United States.
