Personal Statement
My obsessiveness to improve, win and succeed is what separates me from every other player. Since Covid hit, I have been obsessed with becoming the best footballer I can be. I am a student of the game and always seek to learn from different coaches and better players. I constantly look for new teams at the next level to continue learning and improving. Fortunately, I play with some incredible footballers, and by picking their brains, I continue to learn many little things that I add to my game. In addition, by talking to older players I learn tricks and ways to improve long before my peers. For example, I learned to train my mindset by visualizing, analyzing, and meditating before many others my age. This is one of the things that gives me the edge. I have realized that all these things which seem insignificant make a difference in the long run. Recently, I have set a goal to play college Soccer in the US at the highest level. On top of playing football, going to the gym, going for runs, stretching, and analyzing games, I also have a 3.96 GPA whilst taking some of the most demanding classes the American School offers. All the good habits I have learned and implemented into my life have played a role in my success so far. By continuing to add little things to my game consistently, I hope to achieve my goal of continuing my studies and football career at a high level.
