Personal Statement
I am from Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands in the Western Pacific. I have started my search for colleges as I wish to play higher level soccer as I work towards my undergraduate degree.
I play as a midfielder for Kanoa Football Club (KFC) Men’s Team and the Northern Mariana Islands (NMI) U19 Boys National Team. I have been playing for KFC for 9 years and training with the National Team for 3 years now. Soccer has taught me many lessons, on and off the field. The most valuable of these lessons are discipline, perseverance, and goal setting. These skills will stay with me throughout my life and will help me achieve future goals.
Soccer has taken me to see many places including Indonesia for the U16 Asian Football Confederation Qualifiers, the Philippines, Guam, Southern California, and most recently, Fukushima, Japan for training and soccer camps.
My strengths are my vision, switching, and maintaining possession of the ball.
