Personal Statement

My name is Mirza Ahmetspahic.I'm 17 years old and I've finished the 11th grade of High School.I've been playing soccer or football how we call it in Europe since I was 5.I play as a Striker,or attacking midfielder.The last 10 years of my life I've been playing soccer at F.K Zeljeznicar(Sarajevo,BiH).I'm an academically strong student with an average GPA 4.4 out of 5.0(taking the average of the 9,10,and 11th grade of high school) this is how it is graded in my country.I also have a Silver Medal from an International Competition that is related to Chemistry.I lived in California from 1997-2004 and then moved back to my home town Sarajevo.I aspire to play soccer professionally one day,but at the same time am willing to study.My older brother Juso currently plays as a Striker for Cal Poly Pomona.
