Personal Statement
I am a half German half Israeli that lives in Japan and speaks fluent Japanese and English. Soccer is a passion of mine that has been in my life since I was born. Being German there are a lot of expectations of being a great athlete but I try to look past that and be the best that I can be. Other than soccer I also play in my schools American Football team, which helps me on the physical side of soccer, and the Track and Field team, which helps my sprint speed and stamina.
From when I was a young age I have always been playing soccer because growing up my father would play every weekend. I only started getting serious about it around 2-3 years ago, when for the first time in my soccer career I was named as captain for both the teams I was playing for. This made me realise that I shouldn't just be playing the game for fun but more seriously and trying to get somewhere in life playing. In my freshman year the team I was playing for made it to the Kanto Plain Championship finals, where we lost 5-4 on penalties. This experience slowed me down as a player because it was a hard loss, but also helped me develop my skill to accept defeat and move forward.
