Personal Statement
My name is Omari Jones and I am currently based in the United Kingdom. I have been kicking a ball ever since I could walk and soccer has been my passion since I was 5 years old and joined my first club (Alvin Corneal FC). My favourite position is as a CAM but I also play as a Striker and have played as a winger when needed. I have been playing on school teams and in football clubs for most of my life but only started recording the details when I joined the NCSA in 2020 while I was based in the US.
My biggest strength on the football field is my quickness and self/ball control that permit me to stay calm in the moments when my team requires that clarity. While off the field, it is my adaptability and determination to keep going despite the odds I might face. My biggest weakness on the field is that I do not call for the ball because I prefer to let my feet do the talking.
Academically I would like to pursue a degree in Engineering at a university where I can continue to play football at the highest level while continuing to develop my personal, professional and life skills.
