Micah Poole '19 Recruiting Profile

Winning second in state for Iowa has been the highlight of my high school career so far. As a junior starting goalie on a predominantly senior squad, I have learned leadership, commitment to excellence and a drive to constantly improve my skills and communication on the field. As a sophomore, I made the varsity squad as the back up goalie to a senior. That year taught me the value of teamwork, working hard in practice to improve myself, and most importantly, humility. I believe these skills and qualities have prepared me to compete at the college level. While the size of the school does not matter to me, I would like to be at a school that will challenge me to be my best both on and off the field. Also, I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I am interested in all schools in the Midwest. Ideally, I would like to be at a school where I can make a big contribution during my career. Through my experience in high school soccer, club level soccer and Iowa ODP, I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic and passion for the sport to make a impact on your program.
