Brayden Gough '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a right-foot dominant player who is also comfortable with my left foot. I am a center-back, left-back defender, and equally comfortable with the left wing. My coach has our outer defenders running the ball outside with mids and strikers to work the ball up. I spent three years In a Varsity Position my first year being left-wing but pulled to the back line my sophomore year due to the fact we needed more speed in the back. My time learning a new position gave me the ability to adapt and learn new things quickly(currently working on improving my communication with my players upfield)  which resulted in a strong soccer IQ and a unique ability to really see the field. I've spent the last few years in high school learning how to become a better leader because I believe there is no perfect leader but I'm going to try my best to become it. I am an A and B student, enrolled in several honors/college classes with my electives being very business analytical set. I aspire to be on a college team for soccer due to my ever-growing love of learning, my love for soccer, and the fact I do not ever see myself not playing sports.
